10. Play the Stock Market!
When you earn around 100,000NP by playing games and from daily freebies it's time to invest in the stock market. The key is
you can only buy 1,000 shares a day, and it will cost you 20NP to sell the shares. Shares must cost a minimum of 15NP before
you can buy them.
* Theory One:
1. Always buy stocks between 15-17NP (you’ll spend 15K-17K if you buy 1,000 shares)
2. Buy all in one or two stocks.
3. Be patient!
4. Don't sell until it hits at least 20-25%. (If higher then sell it before it drops fast.)
5. Never sell when it's below what you paid for it. (It will usually skyrocket back up after a few days.)
* Theory Two:
1. If you have the NP buy your limit of 1,000 shares a day and each day pick a different stock.
2. Watch them closely each day as you buy more and more.
3. Buy every single stock available.
4. Now wait!
5. If one stock goes up to the 20-25% range or higher by all means sell.
6. If one goes way down it's ok to hold onto it longer, because out of all those stocks one or more will most likely go up.
7. You will gain 20xs the amount you would if you only bought one or two stocks.
11. Open a shop.
Now you have lots of NP or your working towards it after your first few payoffs.
If you've been keeping all the items you have received through your daily giveaways or random events in your SDB you will
have enough to open a shop.
1. Open a shop for 150NP
2. Upgrade to size 30 if you can afford it. (This will mean you can house 60 items at a time.)
3. Open a second window to the shop wiz.
4. Quick stock all your items to your shop.
5. View your stock and copy and paste item names to the shop wiz window.
6. Price within 5NP below the lowest price.
When buying items for your shop:
1. Visit the Neopian Shops every 3rd of the month. (1/2 OFF)
2. Visit the Igloo Garage Sale on Terror Mountain. (Cheap items)
3. Keep two windows open so you can check the shop wiz before buying. (Don't spend more than the Shop Wiz says its worth.)
4. Keep notes of what you buy and the price.
5. Never sell below what you spend on an item. (You’ll be losing NP)
6. If the Shop Wiz drops dramatically on an item check out auctions to sell.
12. Join a guild! (Lots of guilds have giveaways and extra tips that will help you along in Neopia.)
